Rabbit & Turtle is a friendly new meeting and dining destination in the heart of downtown Poughkeepsie. Located within walking distance of the Bardavon and Grand Hotel, Rabbit & Turtle’s host Jean-Luc offers a unique combination of an eclectic pub menu featuring locally sourced, unpretentious selections + 10 local beers on tap in front (The Rabbit), plus a fine dining experience in the dining room (The Turtle). In addition, there is a private room (think “Speak Easy”) available for parties of up to 40 people.

Rabbit & Turtle shares the parking lot with the Bardavon, making it convenient for a quick meal before the show, or an elegant dining experience after. Chef Miguel has 25 years of cooking experience. His culinary journey began in Mexico City, traveled to New York City, now brings him north to the quaint Hudson Valley. Chef Miguel’s cooking style has been described as New Mexican American, with a French twist. His approach to cooking is to combine his passion and love of cooking with his unique cultural influences, embracing strong flavors and attention to detail regarding his choice of ingredients from environmentally conscious, local Hudson Valley farms for fresh seasonal products.
